                                            the First StepThis starter program is designed for
                                          individuals who are ready to consider
                                          exercise as a way to reduce and manage
                                          their risk factors. The 1 month (12
                                          session) commitment will ease you into
                                          the routine and give you a chance to
                                          see what exercise can do to manage
                                          your risk factors and improve your
                                          overall health. 
 We will begin to show you what it
                                          takes to participate in a balanced
                                          exercise program. Modifying lifestyle
                                          and behavior patterns normally takes
                                          three to four months of routine
                                          exercise participation. After 1 month
                                          at CHIP, if you like our settings, you
                                          can decide if you would like to
                                          continue with us for 24 additional
                                          sessions in our Cardiac Rehabilitation
                                          and Prevention Program. |
