Dr. Ilka Lowensteyn is the Clinical Research Director for the McGill Comprehensive Health Improvement Program. She is also a Medical Scientist at the Montreal General Hospital Research Institute and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at McGill University. After graduating with a doctoral degree in exercise physiology from the University of Miami, she completed her postgraduate education at McGill University. Her major area of research is in exercise and cardiovascular disease/diabetes.
